Tournament Structure

• Maximum 12 teams
• 4 Pool Play games guarantee
• 6-inning pool play and playoff games, 7-inning championship
• Top 4 teams to 'A' bracket. All other teams to lesser brackets
• 10:00am Earliest Arrival
• 10:45am Captain's Meeting
• 11:00am First Pitch

The Spring Fling is a 2 day affair with two different tournaments. D1 plays Saturday and D2 plays Sunday.

D1 Saturday

• We're expecting a more competitive field
• Using 'tournament rules'
• Seeded pool play matchups
• 6m and 4f play the field
• Kicking lineup is 'straight through'
• Paid umpires
• No Mercy Rule
• No Free agent teams

D2 Sunday

• Expecting a less competitive field
• Using 'league play rules'
• Can request pool play opponents
• 5m and 5f play the field
• Kicking lineup is 'alternating genders'
• Player umpires
• 8-4-12 Mercy Rule
• Accepts free agents and small groups
• Team Spirit prizes

Additional Tournaments Rules

• Pool play games can end in a tie.
• Max run differential = to number of innings played
• *First tie breaker is head-to-head.
• Second tie breaker is runs against.
• Third tie breaker is run differential.
• Fourth tie breaker is runs scored.
• Fifth tie breaker is the kick and run.
• *only used if all teams have played each other
