Congratulations to Balls Deep. They went undefeated all season and were crowned this season's D1 Champions. They walked away with all the glory that comes with winning the championship, plus some pretty cool beach towels. The game started out close, both teams were neck and neck. Balls Deep were able to pull away from their opponents and get some more points on the board to eventually win the game.

Our D2 championship game was a close one the entire game. Back that Pitch Up managed to get an early lead by a few points, however the Rumbos were able to catch up to them, surpass them and hold onto that 1-point lead till the very end. Rumbos walked off with not one, but two championships last night- D2 and Bar Champs!

This season would not have run as smoothly as it did without the cooperation of all of you, and the commitment from our umps. You know it's not a Glen Cove season without a rain out, but I'm glad we managed to finish this season in a reasonable time frame this time around.

For those of you who are playing in our new league at Eisenhower Park for the summer, I'll see ya in a few weeks- we start July 10th! If you aren't, I hope our paths cross in another league in the near future!
