Our pre-ranking was 32 of 40 teams and were in a pool with teams ranked 1/16/17/32/33.

Game 1: We loaded the bases with our first 3 batters and took a 3-1 lead in the first inning. We stayed ahead with good defense, just giving up one additional run, while scoring one for ourselves. Taking a win in game 1 took off a lot of pressure.

Game 2: We had just one baserunner all game and escaped with a tie thanks to an incredible bend-but--don't-break defense which yielded 0 runs in the face of 9 base runners. Including escaping from a bases-loaded no-out jam by recording a double play at home.

Game 3: After getting just 1 base runner in the first 3 innings, we took advantage of a tired pitcher in the 4th inning to put on 6 base runners and come away with 3 runs. Then in the last inning with the bases loaded, our guest player Pat, made a sliding catch in right field just before the ball dropped to secure us the win.

Game 4: With playoffs guaranteed, the team had the pressure off against the tournament's #1 seed. They lost 13-1 in a game that was never close and both teams were resting up for the playoffs.

Playoff Game 1: All the things that could of but didn't go wrong in pool play, went wrong in playoffs. The other team had balls that got through the infield, over the outfield while their girls were able to bunt and kick making it difficult to get into the right defense set. On offense the team didn't go dry, but took 2 runners off the bases with blunders.

The Henn's played with a National team, Wham. Wham finished pool play as the #1 seed but were eliminated in the semi-finals to the eventual tournament winner.
