Full Series

How does the tournament work? At the beginning of the tournament, each team will choose a schedule at random. Each schedule will contain 4 round-robin games. After the round-robin games are complete the bottom two teams will be eliminated and the top eight teams will move to single-elimination bracket-style playoffs. If you do not have your own racquet, we have some extras to provide! Shuttlecocks will also be provided. Please wear indoor court shoes.

  • Standings are calculated automatically by the computer:
  • Wins
  • Differential
  • Head to Head
  • Strength of Schedule
  • Coin Flip

No team shirts will be provided but please wear shirts in the team color of your choosing.

Round Robin games will be played to 21 points or for 15 minutes long (whichever comes first) and you do not have to win by 2. Playoff games will be played to 21 (win by 2) or first to 25. We play by USA Badminton rules so if you are not familiar with them please review them before the tournament. We will be using Yonex Mavis 300 shuttlecocks.

Frequently Asked Questions

While we love pets, most of the venues have pet policies that we must enforce and we ask our players to follow these rules. Venues that are pet friendly will be marked.

We know that part of the fun is having a couple drinks with your friends while hanging out on the sidelines. That said, most of the venues we play at have strict rules regarding the consumption of beer and alcohol that we must enforce and we ask our players to follow these rules. When possible LI-Kick secures the proper permits to allow players to bring their own booze, in these cases those leagues and tournaments will indicate that this is allowed.

We thank you for supporting our bar sponsors and facilities by not attempting to sneak in outside drinks.
