Doubles leagues are 2 hours (play 5 games). Indy leagues are 1 hour (play 4 games).
What does 'Indys' mean? You join the league as an individual Every week and game, you get paired with a new partner and opponent based on your standings in the league, ensuring an even matchup
All our our leagues are Ladder Style: This means every week your opponents are those who are ranked closest to you in the standings. The best players work their way up to court 1, while newer players are grouped on the lower courts. This allows for fair matchup and allows players of varying abilities to play in the same league.
Team Size: A team may carry up to 4 players on the roster. Only two players are needed. Adding a third and/or fourth player on the roster ensures you can always field a full team, even when someone is unavailable for reasons such as work, illness or family obligations. The team price remains the same regardless of number of players and having more teammates can reduce the per person cost. Teams play a minimum of 5 games per night and additional players can take turns, giving everyone a chance to play.
Join our Facebook Group Long Island Pickleball Partners (over 1,000 members). Players often post there about tournaments and to find partners.
Theme Week: The summer theme is Beach Party and is held July 30th to August 4th.
If part of your team is unable to attend, and you have less than the required amount of players, you are allowed to bring a sub during the regular season. Only rostered players may participate in the playoffs.
All processing fees have been eliminated! The price you see is the exact price you pay!
Nope! Most of our leagues and tournaments allow you to join as a free agent or with one or with a group of friends (while being kept together), in fact, most first time players join this way. When you register we'll ask a few simple questions and we'll do our best to fill out your roster with players like you. That said, the free agent pool for some leagues, like cornhole are limited so your best bet is to join with a friend and form a complete team.
Generally, registration covers the cost of equipment, facility use, umpires/refs and a team shirt. You'll also be given access to the various social events we host and sponsor throughout the year.
Whether your looking to land on a team or just want to meet some of your future league mates our sport specific Facebook Groups are a great way to get connected to our LI Kick community before your league begins.
