Wow! I can't believe the season is over already. It was a quick and fun 7 weeks and it was such a pleasure having fun with all of you. LI-Kick is a big part of my life and I hope this season was an enjoyable experience.
Last night's games were a phenomenal way to finish out the season. We had four great teams battling it out on Court 1 & 2 to win the season. On court 1 Sue F. & Lisa O. won over Julie B. & Danielle F. to move onto the championship round. On court 2 Christine K. & Kristine M. won to move up to court 1. Court 1 championship games were as close as they could get. Game 1 went to Sue F. & Lisa O. 11-7. The winners of game 2 were Christine K. & Kristine M. in an 11-9 game. Sue & Lisa took home LI-Kick championship titles and duffel bags with a combined score of 20 just two points higher than Christine & Kristine's 18 points. Congrats to these two lovely and talented players for being LI-Kick's first women's only league champions!
Once again, thank you for showing up each week and playing your best. Life can get in the way and it's not always easy to show up. But, many of you showed up each week ready to play and I hope you had fun doing so. Hope to see ya out on the court sometime soon.
