Monday Nights

November 6th through December 18th games start at 8:00pm - 10:00pm at LI Sports Dome

Mix and Match

Our Mix and Match events occur between seasons and are a fun way to meet new people or try a new sport

December 29th through December 29th games start at 7:00pm - 9:00pm at LI Sports Dome

Rules

  • Matches are 7 minutes long. Each team will play 4 matches in a night (3 teams round robin style) 
  • Each match may have multiple rounds. Overall score wins the match. 
  • Players: there should be 4 guys and 2 girls on the court at the start of each match. However if one team is short a girl for the week both you and the opposing team may play the game with 5 guys and 1 girl on the court.
  • A player is out when hit by a ball, their thrown ball is caught, or they cross over the center line. 
  • Subs may line up on the sideline and re-enter when a ball is caught (max 6 players on the court) 
  • The team not playing in the round robin will provide players to be referees (and maintain a 6 foot distance from their teammates) 
  • Masks should be worn when not playing. 


JCC POLICIES


  • Please Bring Photo ID
  • Bring a mask
  • Bring a filled water bottle. Our water machines will be temporarily disabled
  • Outside shoes will not be permitted on basketball court. To maintain cleanliness, indoor footwear will be required prior to starting your workout
  • All personal belongings should be left at home or in your car; lockers, storage cubbies, and coat racks to store your items are not available. SJJCC is not responsible for lost or stolen items


WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW AS I ENTER THE BUILDING?

  • Masks must be worn starting in the parking lot, prior to entering the walkway and must remain on at all times, including while walking around the Health + Wellness Center. Masks are not required while swimming
  • Your state ID is required for building entry. Singing in serves as confirmation of your current state of health. By singing in you are acknowledging that:
  • You are not experiencing any of the following symptoms as they relate to COVID-19:
  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath
  • Chills
  • Muscle aches
  • Sore throat
  • New loss of smell or taste
  • Your swipe further confirms:
  • No one in your household is currently experiencing any of the above symptoms
  • You have not been in close contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last 14 days
  • Temperature readings are mandatory. Upon entry, all members will walk through a temperature reading Thermal Camera. Anyone with a temperature reading of 100.4 F or higher will be asked to take a contact-less forehead temperature reading. If the forehead temperature reading is of 100.4 F or higher, you will be asked to leave the building immediately
  • Maintain a 6-foot distance from anyone outside of your household. This will be marked throughout the walkways and hallways
  • We have created a one-way and two-way traffic flow system. Please keep to the directions outlined
  • We will have SJJCC ambassadors stationed throughout the building to help ease you into our new guidelines

 

We will also have optional but recommend disposable gloves for everyone to use.
